The reindeer will be in the paddock from 7.30 pm and the first race will be under starters orders from 8.00 pm. Join us for a buffet and a bet or why not purchase a reindeer?

Tickets are just £5.00 per person and include a Pie & Pea supper. They can be purchased from any committee member, the website, Turnbridge WMC, or by contacting Dave Calverley [07887 878 425].

In each of the 6 races there are 6 reindeer. These are available for people to purchase at a price of £3 per reindeer. After each race is run, the owner of the winning reindeer wins the prize the race sponsor has provided.

Sponsors are required for each race. Sponsorship will be a suitable quality bottle of whisky, £10, or a Ferrari, etc.

In each of the 6 races, members and guests place bets on each reindeer. They take a look at the personalised race programme and choose a reindeer which they think might win the race. The tote then opens and bets are placed at 50p per bet. Punters can buy as many tickets as they wish on any particular reindeer to increase the amount they might win. They may also place bets on as many reindeer as they choose, for example, £1 on reindeer number 1 and £3.50 on reindeer number 4.

The final race of the evening is the auction race. Each of the 6 winning reindeer will be auctioned, and then owned by highest bidders. If each reindeer sells for £50.00 the total amount raised from the sale of the 6 reindeer will be £300.00. We run the final race and 50% [£150.00 in this case] is given to the owner of the winning reindeer and 50% is retained for HGSA funds.
